Chateau Barka was born from a vision deeply rooted in both place and heritage. Nestled in the village of Barka, just a short distance from the ancient Temple of Bacchus in Baalbek, our connection to the world of wine is as old as the stones that surround us.
Founded by the five Geagea brothers, Chateau Barka is a family-owned winery in Lebanon’s Northern Bekaa Valley. Our vineyards stretch across high-altitude terrain between 1,450 and 1,700 meters above sea level—making them some of the highest in the region. Here, in this unique environment, we embrace organic farming practices to cultivate wines that express the purity and character of Lebanese terroir.
The name “Chateau Barka” proudly carries the identity of our village, a symbol of our deep roots and lifelong connection to this land. From the heart of the Bekaa Valley, our journey continues—sharing Lebanon’s winemaking heritage with the world, one bottle at a time.
