Chateau Barka’s Rosé Tanit Wins Silver at the Global Rosé Masters 2025

We are proud to share exciting news about one of our signature wines — Tanit Rosé — which has recently received international recognition at one of the world’s most respected wine competitions.

Chateau Barka’s Rosé Tanit, from our vineyards in the Bekaa Valley, was recently recognised as one of the best rosé wines in the world at the Global Rosé Masters. A panel of expert judges, including Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers, and international buyers awarded this medal in a wide-ranging blind tasting.

Tanit is crafted from a carefully balanced blend of Nielluccio and Tempranillo grapes, grown in the sun-drenched hills of Lebanon. With its delicate color, expressive fruit character, and vibrant freshness, Tanit reflects both tradition and innovation in Lebanese winemaking.

The Global Rosé Masters tasting took place in London on 1st May. It is one of the 32 Global Wine Masters competitions taking place in 2025, run by industry-leading publication the drinks business. The series of competitions uses strict quality criteria and world-leading experts to award medals that consumers can trust.
According to the rigorous judging criteria, a Silver medalist must be “a high-quality wine that clearly demonstrates good winemaking while serving as a good example of its style, source or dominant grape.”

At this competition, judges sought out the very best rosé wines on the market, open to any style of rosé. They tasted over 170 entries from 16 countries, awarding medals based purely on the quality of the wine tasted.

This international recognition is a proud milestone for Chateau Barka, and we invite you to discover Tanit for yourself – a rosé born from the heart of Lebanon, now shining on the global stage.
