Chateau Barka Represents Lebanon at the ZONIN1821 Annual Portfolio Tasting 2026 in London

 

On 27 January 2026, Chateau Barka had the honor of representing Lebanon at the ZONIN1821 Annual Portfolio Tasting in London, marking an important moment for Lebanese wine on the international stage, as Chateau Barka was the only Lebanese winery featured at this prestigious event.

Organized by the ZONIN1821 Group, the Annual Portfolio Tasting brought together an exceptional selection of wines from 31 producers across Italy, France, Spain, South Africa, Chile, Argentina, New Zealand, and Lebanon. The event welcomed wine professionals, sommeliers, and industry experts, offering a unique opportunity to explore diverse terroirs, evolving portfolios, and innovation in modern wine culture.

Chateau Barka’s participation reflects the strength of its partnership with ZONIN1821, which began in 2025, when Chateau Barka wines were first introduced to the UK market through the group. Being part of such a respected international portfolio highlights not only the quality of our wines, but also Lebanon’s place among both established and emerging wine regions worldwide.
This occasion provided an opportunity to showcase the identity, heritage, and craftsmanship behind Chateau Barka wines – from our vineyards in the Northern Bekaa Valley to the philosophy that guides our winemaking. It also reaffirmed our commitment to sharing the story of Lebanese wine beyond our borders.
